+ Ate my first macaron while on a blate with Clare! Ok, well, maybe it was more like two real life friends who got together for tea.. but we talked about blogging stuff so I'm calling it a blate.
And, if I lived in the states this picture would have been Instagrammed. And the waitress would have known how to use an iPhone. These pictures are crappy, sorry about that.

This cracked me up. Even your description of each cliches was full of cliches - reference to another blogger, use of the word "blate," the "I'm sorry this isn't a better picture but the thoughtless person who took this picture clearly doesn't appreciate my need to document every aspect of my life" apology - just so accurate.
I have to confess, I hate the word "blate" - and I hate that there's a distinction between "bloggy friends" and "in real life friends" - I'm sorry, am I not "in real life" cause I have a blog? I know most people just use that to distinguish between people they met in person and people they met online but it always gets me!
Hah, this cracked me up. It's easy to fall into traps like that....much more interesting to be unique and less predictable.

haha! Is it just me, or did you think that the macaron didn't quiiiite live up to all the hoopla? I was a little disappointed!
Now you just need a top knot, bubble necklace, mint skinny jeans, saltwater sandals, and the most profitable accessory ever--a baby! Preferably with a cool hipster name that starts with an E and one-of-a-kind vintage clothes.
